Kami S.
Math Teacher
Grades 2 to 5
Hi there! My name is Kami and I LOVE math. It all started in 5th grade in Mr. Badger's class at R.E. Tobler Elementary in Las Vegas, NV. My love of math, and my desire to be as awesome as Mr. Badger, led me to receive my B.A. in Political Science and Psychology at Allegheny College and receive my M.A. in Education from University of Colorado. I loved teaching in the classroom for 6 years, where I taught both 3rd and 4th grade in Colorado and Philadelphia. I was then able to work at Khan Academy and help create math curriculum for 2nd-5th grade learners. When I am not doing all things math, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and being outdoors.
